The world’s best airlines for 2020 have been chosen by AirlineRatings.com, the world’s only safety and product review website, and Air New Zealand is the airline of the 12 months.
The Airline Excellence Awards recognize the most effective of the most effective on the planet of aviation and honor probably the most elegant airline lounges, the most effective firstclass cabins and probably the most exciting in-flight entertainment.
“In our analysis, Air New Zealand ranked first in most audit criteria, which is an outstanding result compared to carriers with greater resources and scale,” says Geoffrey Thomas, editor-in-chief of AirlineRankings.com, as quoted CNN.
Criteria for the most effective airlines 2020
AirlineRankings.com’s Airline Excellence Awards, presented by seven editors with over 200 years of industry experience, mix top safety and government audits with 12 key criteria that include: fleet age, passenger reviews, profitability, investment rating, product offerings and staff relations.
Last 12 months’s Airline of the Year winner Singapore Airlines is ranked No. 2 and won the Best First Class award this 12 months.
Singapore Airlines has won the celebrated First Class award for its impressive Suites product.
The six suites on this stylish cabin on the front of the upper deck of the airline’s flagship Airbus A380 are designed to resemble the Flying Oval Office on Air Force One, as each is dominated by an enormous swivel seat.
As reported by AirlineRankings.com. The major element is a separate fold-out flat bed measuring 1.93 x 0.68 m (76 by 27 inches), complete with mattress, duvet and pillows. The headboard has a gas spring that keeps the top up while watching a movie, for instance in a lying position.
