The Philippines could turn out to be the following aviation hub in Southeast Asia and even Asia to rival Singapore after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Philippine governments and China to construct a $20 billion airport and seaport at Sangley Point. Geographically, the Philippines is indeed positioned in a really strategic location and once this mega project is accomplished, the country will further profit from it.
This airport will probably be designed with two separate runways and connected to Metro Manila by highways. The Sangley International Seaport can even be built nearby, which can be a part of the MoU. It is near the International Industrial Zone in Cavite Province.

The Philippines is so strategic in Asia that it must be its production and export center. The project was planned several years ago but couldn’t be submitted since the previous administration was not open to unsolicited proposals.

The government said that using the most recent technology, they might complete rehabilitation inside two years and construct immediately, with the airport accomplished two years later and prepared by 2021.
