“(Currently) We are choosing the right location. It (the facility) must be close to the runway,” he said after officiating on the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of the Airfoil Services Sdn Bhd facility.

The typical means of dismantling an aircraft includes draining operating fluids, dismantling liquid parts from the wings, tail and body of the aircraft, disconnecting the landing gear, removing the aircraft cabin, packaging the removed parts and sending them to repair shops for tracking and recycling of the remaining bodywork.

Repaired and re-certified spare parts are replenished in stock and constitute a really attractive alternative to spare parts from original equipment manufacturers when it comes to price, availability and lead time.
