Studio House recently accomplished An’garden Cafeoriginal day by day meeting place situated in Ha Dong, Hanoi, Vietnam.
This steel-framed café has a complete area of 750 square meters and has a fun layout. Plants and flowers add character to all the space, inspiring a way of freshness and seclusion.
“Although a house stuffed with steel frame could seem dry and heavy, the impression of An’garden Café comes from improvised hanging flower pots, evoking the vision of a dream hanging garden,” say the architects. “This building was intended to create an exclusive place that would delight guests with both the smell of coffee and the picturesque surroundings.”
Despite its obvious industrial influences, this original steel-framed Vietnamese cafe feels cozy. Dim lighting and lots of wood finishes help create a welcoming atmosphere.
“The facade of this store combines large pieces of glass with steel frames,” add the architects.
“Simple cement partitions separate the sidewalk from the inside space. To minimize the sensation of heaviness within the cement, plants are considered the optimal solution that synchronizes with the indoor environment.
Thanks to the varied table configurations, the space encourages each large meetings and intimate conversations. A small pond with aquatic plants under the steps adds charm.
