The 10 best creative countries on the planet

Gunn 100 is an annual rating of probably the most creative promoting and marketing campaigns on the planet and the businesses that created them. It is produced by Gunn Report, now a part of WARC.

Thailand continues to exhibit its creativity, while China continues to struggle to match its market size with modern work, based on Warc’s annual Gunn 100 report.

Although it is barely the twenty fifth largest promoting market on the planet, According to the Top 100 Campaigns of 2017, Thailand was ranked ninth by way of creativity. For the primary time since 2008, Thailand was in the highest ten.

Meanwhile, China was the second largest market in 2017 but could only rank seventeenth by way of creativity, while Japan was seventh by way of creativity – up from ninth last 12 months – and third largest.

The report analyzed the highest 100 campaigns of 2017 based on their performance at 40 awards shows all over the world.

The report points out that other countries which have “sought to make an enduring impact within the creative industry” include South Korea and Indonesia, which rank eleventh and fifteenth by way of market size, but are twenty eighth and forty ninth within the league respectively creative.

Singapore finished sixteenth, up from twenty third last 12 months, with Hong Kong twenty third, the Philippines twenty fifth and Malaysia forty first.

The United States, Great Britain and Australia turned out to be probably the most creative, while the highest five were taken by Germany and France.

Top World’s Campaign 2018 also featured a Thai brand called AP (Thailand) Property Development, which took thirteenth place.

Basing its innovation on the concept that a soccer field doesn’t necessarily need to be rectangular, AP Property Development used empty, abandoned plots within the densely populated Khlong Toei district of Bangkok to create a novel play space for youngsters from the local Sports community.

The ‘Extraordinary Football Field’ project is just such an answer, using limited open spaces within the built environment to attain a robust regeneration project. The campaign was shared with publications in 174 countries and generated $1.5 million in free media.
