Vietnam is the brand new primary team in Southeast Asia in accordance with December’s FIFA rankings.
Vietnam’s only match previously month was a 0-0 draw with Afghanistan, but Vietnam remained unbeaten in 2017 and rose 13 places to 112th on the planet rankings.
The advancement moved them ahead of the Philippines and into 124th place amongst ASEAN teams, dropping six places from the previous month.

Myanmar also saw a giant rise, rising ten places to a hundred and fortieth, even though it stays fourth within the region behind Thailand (up two places to one hundred and thirtieth).
The biggest declines were recorded by Indonesia, falling eight places to 162nd, followed by Singapore and Cambodia.
There were no changes in the underside 4 countries: Malaysia, Laos, Brunei Darussalam and Timor-Leste, although the latter rose five places to 191st.
