The annual report on the world’s most beneficial brands for 2018 has been published.
Amazon has officially replaced Google because the world’s most beneficial brand, based on brand consultancy Brand Finance.
Their 500-strong rating shows how overwhelmingly digital our age is, with technology accounting for as much value as telecom, retail, and cars combined. In fact, many of the 10 most beneficial firms are within the technology sector.
Rankings by 12 months Brand Finance 500 Ranking are based on a “brand strength assessment” that takes under consideration facets resembling marketing investment, stakeholder capital and business performance, in addition to a calculation of the economic advantages and future revenues from licensing the brand on the open market.
