Travel analyst OAG rated airports around the globe with no less than 2.5 million departures annually.
As with airlines, the greater the passenger traffic, the harder the challenges, so OAG divided the rankings by airport size.
Drawing on full-year data from 58 million flight records in 2018 – essentially the most ever recorded by OAG in a single 12 months – the British analyst has created a rating of the perfect on-time performance for the world’s largest airlines and airports.
By definition, on-time performance (OTP) means flights that arrive or depart inside quarter-hour of their scheduled times.
Since we now have published the most recent OAG airline rankings here, below are essentially the most punctual airports in Southeast Asia, measured between June 2018 to May 2019 (we only distinguish those with the variety of operations/flights exceeding 20,000): :

2. Miri (84.54) (35221)
3. Singapore Changi Airport (81.98) (377,013)
4. Kuching (81.32) (49721)
5. Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport (80.69) (267163)
