The most influential think tanks in Southeast Asia

According to a study conducted by the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) in Philadelphia, in 2017, outstanding organizations from Southeast Asia were included within the list of probably the most influential advisory and advisory centers on this planet.

The inclusion of an establishment amongst leading think tanks doesn’t constitute a seal of approval or endorsement of the institution, its publications or programs by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program.

Likewise, an absence of nominations doesn’t necessarily mean an absence of quality and effectiveness or poor performance.

There are 6,486 think tanks doing exceptional work to assist bridge the gap between knowledge and policy.

Therefore, this edition of the 2017 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report is nothing greater than an try to draw attention to a few of the leading think tanks on this planet.

The annual report ranks global advisory teams in various categories using a panel of over 1,900 peer institutions and experts from all over the world.

Therefore, I present the outcomes of the rating process for 2017 below; Top think tanks in Southeast Asia in Category “The most influential think tanks” on this planety.

The Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) is an independent, not-for-profit organization engaged in research, evaluation and discussion on regional and international issues.

Founded in 1961, SIIA is the oldest advisory team in Singapore. Through policy research and dialogue, we seek to bridge the gap between policymakers, private sector decision-makers and experts to shape public impact and influence policy and public responses.

The Indonesian Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) was ranked sixty fifth on the list of top non-US think tanks in last yr’s rating.

The Institute of Southeast Asian Studies is a research institute based in Singapore. Founded in 1968, it includes several research centers, a library and a publishing house.

In August 2015, it was renamed ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute in honor of the primary president of Singapore.

Founded in 2006 on the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy on the National University of Singapore, the Center for Asia and Globalization (CAG) is a non-profit research organization dedicated to conducting in-depth research on developments within the Asia-Pacific region and their impact on world affairs.

The center’s mission is to offer objective, independent, and high-quality research for academia, policy practitioners, policymakers, and most of the people on problems with regional and global importance, and to advertise mental dialogue with scientists and experts outside academia on a very powerful issues facing the region.

The Asian Competitiveness Institute (ACI) was established in August 2006 as a research center on the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) on the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Its predominant goal is to contribute to understanding and improving economic growth and living standards by undertaking rigorous research on policy issues regarding the competitiveness of clusters and benchmark regions in Asia.

The center also envisages constructing mental leadership and networks for understanding and developing competitiveness within the Asian region.
