Philippine airline Air Juan has announced every day direct seaplane service from Manila to the country’s top tourist destinations similar to Boracay, Coron, Puerto Galera and Subic. The airline departs from a dock on the Port of Manila using a fleet of recent nine-seat Cessna Caravan Amphibian aircraft that may land and take off from airports and water.
“This direct, daily connection allows travelers to reach resorts much faster, meaning they can spend more time enjoying their destination and less time on the road,” said Tina Di Cicco, chief marketing officer. “Currently, reaching these places from Manila means either a protracted journey through traffic or a mixture of sea and land transport. Thanks to our direct, every day service, travel time to those destinations is reduced by as much as six hours.
