Eight Southeast Asian brands, including Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia, have secured positions among the many world’s 500 most precious brands within the Brand Finance 2024 rating.
Leading the pack
- Petronas (Malaysia): Malaysia’s largest oil and gas giant Petronas climbed 14 places to one hundred and fortieth position to change into the most precious brand in Southeast Asia.
- DBS (Singapore): Right behind it’s Singaporean bank DBS, which maintains its position in 193rd place.

- Vietnam (Vietnam): Vietnamese telecommunications company Viettel dropped seven places to 241st place.

- Marina Bay Sands (Singapore): The iconic Marina Bay Sands has seen a remarkable 369-degree rise to its 366th position on the planet.
- UOB (Singapore): UOB, one other Singaporean bank, rose nine places to 410th position.

- BRI (Indonesia): Indonesian bank BRI made a noticeable jump of 111 positions, reaching 446th place.
- OCBC Bank (Singapore): However, OCBC Bank of Singapore dropped 48 places to 483rd place.
