A Bangladeshi boy leads to Malaysia after playing hide and seek in a shipping container
According to the Malaysian National News Agency Bernama, 15-year-old Fahim, identified only by his first name, was present in a container in West Port, Malaysia after the ship he was traveling on left Chittagong, Bangladesh for six days.
“It was believed that the boy simply climbed into the container, fell asleep and ended up here,” said Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
“He was the only one found in the container. As he had a fever, a police report was filed.”
The Times of India reported that Fahim was playing hide and seek, hid in a container and was locked inside it.
On Reddit, a viral video showed a baby present in a container, confused and confused after days without food or water. The footage shows authorities taking him away on a stretcher.
Ismail added that Fahim had undergone medical examinations and that “the authorities are within the strategy of repatriating him through legal channels.”
