VinFast, a Vietnamese manufacturer of domestically produced vehicles, has finally opened the primary six of a planned 36 dealerships in California after extensive planning that took several years and lots of conversations took place largely virtually throughout the pandemic. It’s starting in California and plans to expand nationally.
Le Thi Thu Thuy, vice chairman of Vingroup and CEO of VinFast Worldwide, said in a press release that the opening of VinFast’s first six U.S. stores “represents a big milestone in the corporate’s global journey as we work to supply premium services and products to American consumers.”
After announcing 50 VinFast outlets in Europe on June 1, the corporate announced plans to expand its network of locations within the U.S. and eventually throughout North America.
Founded in 2017, Vietnamese automaker VinFast has been preparing to enter the U.S. vehicle marketplace for a while. VinFast announced plans to import its electric vehicles to the United States in March 2022 in 2021 after unveiling a pair of electrical SUVs.
Even if the young company failed to attain this goal, VinFast still insists that sales in America will begin by the top of 2022. Currently, the corporate is preparing to take a big step forward.
Wanting to create buzz before happening sale, VinFast has arrange its U.S. headquarters in Los Angeles in 2021 and is touring the Golden State with demonstrations of its VF8 two-row crossover.
This strategy is complemented by brand-building initiatives which can be based on individualized customer relationships. “1S, 2S and 3S” are VinFast dealer designations. High-traffic shopping centers feature vehicle displays and VinFast 1S sales outlets. The largest category of stores are 3S dealers who offer full sales of cars and components in addition to service.
On a smaller scale, 2S stores provide each parts and services and help the 1S corporations surrounding them. They are placed in a visual place near the essential communication arteries. Additionally, 2S stores serve areas where there are not any other store formats, but which have a high density of VinFast customers.
VinFast stores are developed in a futuristic and minimalist design language and have interactive technologies for a seamless transition from online to offline to represent the concept of the “Future of Mobility”.
The spacious atmosphere of the shop combines contemporary elements in perfect harmony with Eastern tradition and the fantastic thing about nature, aesthetically illustrating VinFast’s mission to construct a sustainable future for all.
