Sara Duterte-Carpio, 43, entered the vice presidential race as a proxy after her political party’s original candidate withdrew, her spokeswoman, Mayor Christina Garcia-Frasco, said in a press release.
Garcia-Frasco said Duterte-Carpio will make an announcement soon.
