Belmond Eastern and Oriental Express, Malaysia and Thailand
It is smart that The Belmond Eastern and Oriental Express are on our list. Bangkok and Singapore have been connected by the Eastern and Oriental Express trains since its first journey in September 1993. What counts on the train is sweet cuisine, nice company and breathtaking views.
Silky upholstery, shiny glass and cutlery make the train’s interior the peak of luxury. The train stops in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, three of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant cities, in addition to the Death Railway Museum and the River Kwai Bridge.

In India, traveling by train is an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend. Train in Kurobe Gorge, Japan
Japan has an intensive and modern railway system, and its recognizable bullet trains are famous for his or her efficiency world wide. While most of Japan’s intercity routes are nothing out of the extraordinary, there are some truly beautiful routes that take you thru the Japanese Alps.
“Hida Wide View” connects Nagoya and Takayama, that are situated on the sting of the Japanese Alps, and was specially created to permit passengers to admire the breathtaking scenery. Both the front and rear carriages have wide windows for unobstructed views. If we had to choose a favourite, it will must be the Kurobe Gorge Train.
This charming, scenic train traverses a 20-kilometer stretch of rocky cliffs and forested gorges within the Japanese Alps. The train is best for a day trip from Kanazawa and runs from mid-April to November. Our favorite time of 12 months for this spectacular hike is autumn, when the forest gorges sparkle with beautiful colours.
