In this unpredictable situation, the whole world has to face the Covid-19 pandemic. Indonesia is one in every of the countries fighting to avoid wasting Indonesians. Garuda Indonesia, as the biggest and most sophisticated airline, has implemented government-mandated health protocols. The health protocol established by the Indonesian government is known as 3M. Menjaga jarak (physical distancing), Mencuci tangan (washing hands) and Memakai masker (wearing a mask). This application is essential because airplanes carry different passengers from different areas.

The “Batik Timbal” painting is placed on the very front of the plane, matching the prevailing theme and vision. The developed topic was named Together, construct the long run of the nation (Shaping the nation’s future together). Government-aligned promotions that adhere to health protocols and are installed on board aircraft to encourage the broader community to proceed wearing masks when traveling. Irfan’s Boeing 777-300ER in collaboration with the unique “Batik Tambal” from Yogyakarta. This design was created by Johana Angelia Christian, who was the fourth winner of the “Fly Your Design Through the Sky” competition in October 2020. Even though the theme is the COVID-19 pandemic protocol, this design still incorporates Indonesian culture.

Garuda Indonesia cooperated with Pertamina for this competition. This collaboration goals to get many individuals to wear masks. Pertamina’s participation on this program was Pertamina’s way of supporting the COVID-19 prevention campaign in a singular and interesting way.

Irfan, because the Chief Director of Garuda Indonesia, would really like to thank the general public for his or her great enthusiasm in helping the federal government spread the slogan “Wear a Mask!” because of the cooperation and creativity poured into the colours of the Garuda aircraft.
“As the national flag carrier, Garuda Indonesia has always been committed to supporting the government’s efforts to limit the spread of Covid-19. One way we can achieve this is by encouraging people to wear masks,” Irfan said.
In addition to Pertamina, Garuda Indonesia also cooperated with Artha Graha Peduli and Pigeon Express Cargo. They created the three previously introduced brand livery designs with the themes of Indonesia Pride, Flying High and Staying Protected, and Sekar Jagat Nusantara.
