According to research institution CB Insights, Indonesian shipping company Gojek has finally achieved Decacorn status (an organization valued at over $10 billion) after its valuation reached $10 billion. Earlier, Gojek had secured capital injections from several major investors which include Google, Tencent Holdings, Temasek Holdings, Astra International and Meituan Dianping.
Gojek raised a capital injection of $1.5 billion from numerous investors in 2018 and $1 billion in the primary quarter of 2019.
In The Global Unicorn Club rating (currently private corporations valued at over $1 billion), Gojek ranks nineteenth, below its regional rival Grab, in thirteenth place, which became Decacorn in February 2019.
