“I thanked Benedict Cheong, CEO of Temasek Foundation Singapore, for donating the 30,000 Covid 19 test kits that arrived in India. An exquisite gesture from an in depth friend. Temasek Foundation International is a Singapore-based non-profit organization operating under the philanthropic arm of Singapore’s sovereign fund Temasek Holdings. Since 1974, Temasek has established 17 foundations focused on promoting social and cultural interaction, education and assistance to disadvantaged people in Asia.
The Foundation recently partnered with various corporates, trade unions, universities and community organizations to offer free hand sanitizer to households in Singapore, Connected with India reported.
The distribution is an element of the Stay Readed initiative by the Temasek Emergency Preparedness Fund managed by the Temasek Foundation to support Singaporeans amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

Besides, a Singapore-based online platform has been identified to produce 10 lakh PPE kits and the Ministry of External Affairs has placed an order for his or her procurement, in line with the official.
