Tripadvisor®the world’s largest travel platform, today announced the winners of the 2020 Travelers’ Choice awards® Rewards for travel purposes. The annual Destination Awards include two latest categories. First, Trends, distinguishes destinations which have recorded the best increase within the variety of positive reviews, interest in bookings and searches during the last 12 months. Second, Emerginglooking ahead – destinations still ahead of the curve that travelers are already saving of their Tripadvisor Trips, an important indicator of upcoming hotspots.

Trending and Emerging Destination Winners are selected based on feedback and growing traveler interest on Tripadvisor, making them a fantastic source of inspiration and travel planning. discovering something new,” he said Neela Pal, vp of name for Tripadvisor. “From popular destinations that our Tripadvisor travelers currently love, to exciting new destinations that whet the appetites of more adventurous explorers, all the winners are worth checking out and hopefully visiting!”
Bali was voted the preferred destination (4th on the earth), followed by Phuket (2), Goa (3), Bangkok (4) and Hanoi (5). Here’s a rating of the highest 25.
Award winners are chosen based on the amount and quality of user reviews and rankings, and are actually honored as “Travellers’ Choice of the Best of the Best” – the highest 1 percent of Trip Advisor deals.
Methodology
Winners of the Trending & Emerging Destinations awards were chosen using an algorithm that measured year-over-year growth in Tripadvisor traveler positive rankings for accommodations, restaurants and attractions, in addition to growth in booking and search interest in locations world wide. For the brand new destinations category, the methodology also includes recording traveler data on Tripadvisor year-on-year.
Travelers can ‘save’ their travel ideas and plans on Tripadvisor by tapping the center icon next to places to remain, restaurants and attractions. This allows travelers to trace their travel plans and remember them for later. Travelers may add their saved trip data to view it on a map, organize their plans, add dates and share upcoming plans with travel companions, family and friends. Recorded data is an important indicator of what travelers are curious about in the long run, in comparison with what they’ve done or are booking now.
