Singapore Airlines is once more the massive winner of the annual AirlineRankings.com Airline Excellence Awards, winning the award for Best First Class Airline in addition to being ranked second within the rating agency’s top 20 airlines.
AirlineRankings.com, the world’s only airline safety and product rankings website, promotes excellence and innovation within the airline industry, culminating within the annual Airline Excellence Awards.
It’s no surprise that Singapore Airlines won the title of Best First Class Airline because it has at all times been a firstclass airline.
Features of one of the best firstclass airline for 2020
The airline has pioneered many inventions across all cabin classes, but its First Class stands out as a transparent standout. And now it has taken the product to a brand new level with its latest “Skyroom” suites on the A380.
The Skyroom is really spectacular, with each suite measuring between 3.23 and 4 square meters in size and equipped with two-piece sliding doors which might be operated by hand somewhat than electrically operated with other media, which is a source of long-term breakdowns.
AirlineRankings European Editor Andreas Spaeth notes that there’s a similarity to the Flying Oval Office on Air Force One, as each is dominated by an enormous swivel seat.

The primary feature is a separate fold-out flat bed measuring 1.93 x 0.68 m (76 inch by 27 inch) which comes complete with mattress, duvet and pillows. The headboard has a gas spring that keeps the top up while watching a movie, for instance in a lying position.
And for individuals who wish to fly as a family, the partitions between two and even all three suites on one side of the aisle could be lowered, making a maximum of two double beds within the two front suites 1A/2A and 1F/2F.
AirlineRankings.com’s Airline Excellence Awards, presented by seven editors with over 200 years of industry experience, mix top safety and government audits with 12 key criteria that include: fleet age, passenger reviews, profitability, investment rating, product offerings and staff relations.
