Go said he’s open to the concept.

“When I learned that there have been certain candidates who would love to be Mayor Sara’s vice chairman within the event that she runs for president, I expressed my willingness to be considered,” he said in a press release Thursday.

Asked at a business forum whether he might contest the presidency himself, Marcos, higher often called “Bongbong,” said running for president was a possibility.

Duterte-Carpio was quoted within the media as saying she was open to running.

“Whether or not she has already decided on her plans to run, there is really an uproar in many sectors,” said political analyst Edmund Tayao. “Many politicians imagine she will likely be a formidable presidential candidate.”
