Singapore is giving staff the correct to request 4-day weeks and more working from home under latest flexible working guidelines

Employees in Singapore can now request four-day workweeks, more work-from-home days and staggered working hours from December 1, underscoring a worldwide trend for governments and corporations to loosen up office arrangements to retain talent.

The latest guidelines were announced on Tuesday by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices, an agency arrange by the Ministry of Manpower, the National Trades Union Congress and the Singapore National Employers’ Federation.
