RANKING: Passport strength rating of Southeast Asian countries 2019

The UAE passport is currently probably the most powerful passport on the planetin line with CEOWORLD magazine’s global passport rating for 2019. The next places were taken by Singapore, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain and the Netherlands.

The United States ranked 14th within the 2019 index with 116 visa-exempt countries. And the worst?

Afghanistan ranked last on the planet’s passport rankings, with only 29 countries granting Afghans entry without requiring a previous visa.

The Global Passport Ranking, compiled by CEOWORLD magazine, ranks the passports of 193 countries and 6 other territories by counting the number of nations each passport can access and not using a prior visa. The six territories include Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, Kosovo, the Palestinian Territories and the Vatican.
