WiFi Is in all placesfrom cafes to bus stops, from trains to airports – this can be a service that is extremely appreciated by people when traveling. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi craze has not yet reached its full potential, and we stay up for the day when it would be included (free of charge) on future flights.
While frequent flyers ask airlines to offer on-board Internet access, when the service is out there, it doesn’t at all times meet the needs of tech-savvy travelers…
But now in-flight Wi-Fi is getting faster and cheaper, and is an increasingly popular offering on each budget and flagship airlines. “Sorry I missed your email – I was on a plane” is an excuse that simply doesn’t apply anymore.
Many people in Southeast Asia are already at some extent in technology where we expect constant access to Wi-Fi – even after we are high within the sky. “Does my flight have WiFi?” It’s not an issue we still need to ask ourselves today. Unfortunately, WiFi on airplanes should still seem to be a luxury. This remains to be relatively latest for Southeast Asian airlines.
The excellent news is that many airlines are realizing how much on-board WiFi affects flight quality. But adding Wi-Fi is just the start – as a part of an overall industry-wide initiative, airlines with on-board Wi-Fi are actually attempting to make it higher, faster and cheaper. Many are beginning to offer free Wi-Fi at reasonable (if not superb) speeds in order that passengers can use the Internet on board.
We’ve compiled a listing of airlines that provide free Wi-Fi on board their planes at altitudes many 1000’s of meters above sea level.
