Two months after Malaysian Rice Bowl Awards 2017 It turned out that on December 13, the official edition of the Global Startup Awards, ASEAN Rice Bowl Startup Awards 2017 in South Asia took place within the ballroom of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

Chair of the ASEAN Rice Bowl Startup Awards, Lilyana Latiff, opened with a speech during which she thanked all of the panel members who contributed to the event and thanked all of the startups in attendance.

“Competition was fierce, with start-ups from sectors such as e-commerce, fin-tech, biotechnology, medical and health technology, social impact and smart city solutions all competing for top awards.”

She added that the interest they’ve gained has increased in comparison with 3 years ago. In previous years, there have been no nominations from Brunei, Laos and Cambodia.

On Sunday (December 16), all three countries have fun their very own national Rice Bowl Startup Awards, with Cambodia and Brunei bringing their very own award to the evening.

Malaysian startup Buildeasy is providing chosen design templates at no cost to those seeking to renovate their homes.
