The first season of Indonesia’s Next Top Model will air this Saturday, November 28vol on NET TV. For the primary time, Indonesia will host its own televised modeling competition.
A program that’s an adaptation America’s recent top model AND Asia’s next top model counted 16 finalists chosen from across Indonesia who joined the web auditions in August.
The jury includes such stars because the famous actress and model Luna Maya, Patricia Gouw as a former finalist Asia’s next top model and web personality Deddy Corbuzier, and choreographer Panca Makmun will act as a mentor.
During Tuesday’s press conference, Patricia Gouw said the competition could open doors to opportunities beyond modeling for finalists.

She added that after returning home from Asia’s Next Top Model 2016, she got a likelihood to turn out to be a broadcaster, presenter, YouTuber and plenty of others within the entertainment industry and got here second within the competition.
“The judges’ criticism during the competition only made me a stronger contender on the show in real life.” She said.
Moreover, Luna Maya, who can also be excited, said that “the modeling business in Indonesia was prepared and able to welcome recent people.” She added: “Our modeling industry used to be dominated by foreigners [models]which is strange because we have a lot of Indonesian talent” (wng).

In total, lower than 450 participants who met the necessities were chosen through virtual interviews and a psychological test, and only 16 participants were chosen to perform on TV.
