According to job postings on the web site and confirmed by The Nation, the primary official Apple Store will open in Bangkok. The store can be the primary in all of Thailand.
The company is in search of employees for all positions, including the seek for an authority from the US who could travel abroad. The deals were discovered by local news outlet The Nation, though an Apple spokesperson told the publication that each the shop’s location and opening date are being kept secret.
“We are excited to begin hiring the team that will open our first Apple Store in Thailand,” the corporate said in a press release. “Bangkok is one of Asia’s leading cultural and tourism destinations, with a vibrant design and architecture scene.”
Thais currently must shop online or visit third-party sellers in the event that they want Apple products. The nearest own stores are also situated in China and Singapore.
Earlier this summer, rumors suggested that the Bangkok outlet would open “by 2018” at Iconsiam and can be over 21,000 square feet. The company was also allegedly considering stores at CentralWorld, Central Embassy and/or Siam Paragon.
