Guess what. This passport is the second strongest on this planet

According to the World Passport Rankings, Singaporeans hold the second strongest passport on this planet.

Singapore was second with Sweden with a visa-free rating of 156, while Germany got here first with a one-point advantage within the 2017 passport index.

Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Great Britain and the United States are in third place with 155 points.

Singapore moved up one place from last yr’s index and overtook South Korea to develop into the highest-ranking Asian passport.

The worst passports you may have come from Iraq (92), Pakistan (93) and Afghanistan (94).

The index calculates the visa-free travel rating for every passport in three steps: counting the number of nations each passport holder can visit with no visa or where they’ll obtain a visa on arrival; comparison of those two numbers; and the usage of the United Nations Development Program Human Development Index (UNDP HDI) as a tiebreaker.

The index, developed by financial consulting firm Arton Capital, covers 193 countries and 6 territories.

Last yr, one other global passport rating placed Singapore in fifth place, with Germany also in first place.

Henley & Partners’ 2016 Visa Restrictions Index ranks passports by the whole variety of other countries to which residents can travel visa-free.

The index was developed in cooperation with the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
