What’s the perfect Asian destination for Gen Z travelers?

GENERATION Z travelers (Gen Z) are a brand new brand of young globetrotters after millennials, which has shaken up the travel industry greater than ever before. Like millennials, they’d go to great lengths to travel with very specific needs.

Gen Z travelers grew up with the Internet as an integral a part of their lives. In addition to being connected to the Internet, additionally they crave adventure and are motivated by social media equivalent to Instagram.

Factors included things like budget, off the beaten track, eco-friendliness, and anything that makes travel reasonably priced, sustainable, and envy-inducing.

Holiday Place then ranked countries world wide that provide the perfect in categories equivalent to budget, web connection, Instagrammability, social awareness, eco-friendly, adventure, off the beaten path and outdoors.

In each category, each country was given a rating from one to 5, with five being the very best rating.

These scores are then summed to supply the ultimate GZTI rating, with a complete of 40 being the very best rating available. Countries are ranked based on their performance.

Which Asian destination got here out on top?

Japan ranked high for budget (4.6) and stability on Instagram, with a complete of 92,455,882 hashtags for the country. This is just not surprising given the variety of articles on this topic probably the most instagrammable places AND probably the most instagrammable food and drinks.

Japan offers a wide selection of natural attractions, from the drifting ice within the seas off the coast of Hokkaido to the mangrove jungles of Okinawa. In between are majestic volcanoes, breathtaking coastlines, vast forests and world heritage sites.

Other Asian countries that scored quite well within the GZTI The Holiday Place rating include Thailand (12), Singapore (14), India (19) and China (20).
