The Musée d’Orsay in Paris has been recognized as the perfect museum on the planet.
The art museum, situated in an old train station on the Seine, is best-loved for its vast collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art.
Performed best in the newest TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice awards for museums world wide. The review and booking platform chosen the winners based on the amount and quality of reviews and rankings over a 12-month period.
New York’s museums got here in second and third, with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in second place, followed by town’s landmark Metropolitan Museum of Art. Fourth place went to the British Museum in London; and the highest five was rounded out by the Prado National Museum in Madrid.
