This Southeast Asian climbing route is amongst the most effective on the planet!

If someone ever tells you, “Go on a hike!” you will have over 50 amazing mountain climbing trails to pick from from 30 different countries.

And amongst them is the Malaysian mountain Kinabalu.

Located in Sabah, the 4,095-meter-high mountain is certainly one of the very best in Southeast Asia. According to Lonely Planet, it also has a few of the most effective mountain climbing trails.

In the recently published guide entitled Epic journeys all over the world200 travel writers described all 50 itineraries in numerous countries and wrote down their experiences.

“Crossing the tangled jungle, granite ridges and barren plateaus of Borneo’s highest and holiest mountain is a task requiring nerves and legs of steel” – certainly one of the descriptions of the hike reads.

However, 1000’s of individuals flock to the mountains to admire the breathtaking sunsets. The hike up and down takes about two days.

Other mountain climbing trails included on the list include the 88 sacred temples of Shikoku in Japan, the Markha Valley in India, Gubeikou to Jinshanling on the Great Wall of China, the 14 peaks of Snowdonia in Wales, the Routeburn Track in New Zealand and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

It’s also an enormous honor for Malaysia and Southeast Asia!
