A brand new report reveals that YouTube sensation PewDiePie earns a whopping $11.2 million every month from his online videos.
The Swedish gamer topped YouTube’s list of top earners based on data collected on merchandise sales and revenue from views on the platform by marketing firm Purple Moon.
The promoting data was collected using a tool that estimates a YouTuber’s ad revenue based on his or her monthly views and the typical ad payout on the platform – typically between $0.37 and $6 per 1,000 views.
The merchandise numbers were determined by analyzing data from hundreds of YouTubers who sell products on Sellfy’s online store.
