In his Facebook post, Tony detailed his “big tip”

“A fantastic day with a fantastic man in a fantastic palace. I met President Jokowi. When he got here to power, he desired to develop tourism. We are currently the number one airline in attracting tourists to Indonesia.

We discussed plans for the following 4 years. How to actually take it to a different level. Lots of great ideas. I never thought that a small two-plane operation could help advance a national program. It’s a joy to see his easy, humble approach and what he can do. And he has a tremendous palace in Bogor.

Tony’s meeting with President Jokowi and AirAsia Indonesia CEO Dendy Kurniawan confirms what Tony announced earlier last November throughout the “AirAsia Loves Asean” initiatives launched along side the ASEAN Golden Jubilee celebrated in Manila, Philippines.

The airline has added the Indonesian capital to greater than 20 locations it serves.

While the direct flight from Manila to Jakarta is a boon for Filipino and Indonesian tourism, AirAsia Philippines expects Indonesians to consistently be among the many top 20 recent arrivals to the country. The recent connection will prove helpful for entrepreneurs and startup founders who profit from the connection of two business centers.
