India has emerged because the champion in a brand new rating that features the country with probably the most digitally advanced travelers.
In a worldwide survey conducted by travel marketplace Travelport, which surveyed 11,000 respondents worldwide, Indian travelers emerged as probably the most digitally savvy when analysts checked out the usage of digital technologies for travel purposes in each country.
The rankings are based on a mix of key indicators of digital travel use by travelers in each country. For example, people in India are likely to use smartphones to book and board planes – 82% say digital boarding passes make traveling easier, in comparison with a worldwide average of 70%.
After India, China and Indonesia took the rostrum.
