Last month, TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company also shipped thousands and thousands of antibacterial cloth masks to the European Union. TNG was also investing within the production of medical face masks, which were scheduled to start production in May.
Antibacterial cloth masks helped TNG sales within the domestic market increase by 10 percent in the primary quarter of this 12 months in comparison with the identical period last 12 months.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the 50 domestic manufacturers that reported to the ministry itself had a combined production capability of eight million face masks per day.

Producers of face masks must listen to meeting the standard and safety requirements of import markets and acquire certificates enabling the event of exports, he added.
According to the Vietnam Trade Office within the EU, many producers of masks and medical protective clothing in Vietnam have contacted the trade office for support to find partners to export these products.
