Launch of online food delivery Foodpanda has officially launched its on-demand delivery service for convenience products, beauty products and other consumer goods in Singapore.
There is a brand new service called Pandamart piloted in October 2019, where it contacted over 1,000 retailers across town to supply products akin to beauty and baby care items. Some of its partners on the time reportedly included Caltex Starmart, TigerNow, Mothercare and Toki. Technology in Asia.
According to Foodpanda, orders for groceries and home items greater than quadrupled due to the Pandamart pilot. The company has also observed a rise in demand for a more diversified offer.
The expansion of the service is causing existing partners akin to Hao Mart to extend their product range to over 2,000 products, Foodpanda says. New partners have also joined the service, akin to FairPrice Xpress and Cheers.
For customers searching for 24/7 convenience, foodpanda has also launched pandanow, Singapore’s only 24/7 grocery and household goods delivery platform.
Arriving at your door in quarter-hour, customers won’t ever should worry about running out of household essentials – from paracetamol to bath products and more.
