“Singapore was named one of the best city on this planet for street food-obsessed tourists in 2019,” in line with a survey by CEOWORLD Magazinewhile Bangkok and Hong Kong ranked second and third, respectively.
In the primary index of its kind CEOWorld the magazine ranked 50 cities world wide to discover one of the best places for tourists on the lookout for street food.
According to CEOWORLD MagazineThe 50 cities were chosen after reviewing quite a few “best cities for street food” lists and included those cities that appeared greater than once. To obtain data on the variety of street food vendors in each city, CEOWORLD magazine analyzed street food data on Google Maps.
CEOWORLD magazine used Numbeo to examine the present price of an affordable meal in each city. UNICEF data was used to rank cities in line with food hygiene. The Street Food City Index 2019 ranks cities based on 4 parameters: variety of street food vendors, affordability, variety of street food experiences and food hygiene.
As stated in Morning mail from South China, The study was conducted over a three-month period from July 18, 2019 to September 19, 2019, and involved 92,000 business travelers and 1,400 corporate travel agencies in 86 countries.
The Street Food City Index 2019 placed Ho Chi Minh City in fourth place, ahead of Mumbai which was fifth, Rome in sixth place and Tel Aviv in seventh place. Sydney, Mexico City and Portland rounded out the highest ten.
