This idea inspired her to ascertain the MyBirthday Foundation. Based in Manila, Philippines, this foundation is for many who wish to throw a celebration to support a cause or people in need.
It cooperates with charities and institutions when planning these celebrations. Event sponsors can attend the event and invite friends and members of the family.
According to Catherine, the MyBirthday Foundation can assist you rejoice birthdays with different groups in society, including children, prisoners and the elderly. You also can select a selected cause, resembling protecting the environment by planting trees or cleansing the beach.
Today, the MyBirthday Foundation has expanded its operations, inviting people from everywhere in the world to rejoice their birthdays, anniversaries or other special events of their lives by supporting the cause within the Philippines.
Take Leedel, a Filipino working in Doha, Qatar, who simply donated some money to the MyBirthday Foundation. She asked them to prepare a baby shower on her behalf on the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
