The Thai government has waived visa fees at its consulates and embassies for the following six months until August, and the visa-on-arrival fee has been halved to 1,000 baht. Originally, the choice assumed implementation of the activities for 3 months from the start of December to February 28, which resulted in a rise within the variety of tourist arrivals by 12.4%.
