World premiere All for lovea brand new musical featuring songs by Australian rock duo Air Supply, will premiere on October 18 on the Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila.
The musical relies on an original script by award-winning Canadian playwright Jim Millan and features 17 Air Supply songs, including “Lost in Love,” “All Out of Love,” “The One That You Love,” “You are the Reason” and more.
In the brand new musical, music mogul Tommy King tries to persuade struggling rock star Jamie Crimson to go on a world tour to advertise his latest album and save King’s record label. Jamie struggles with the abandonment of his songwriting partner and the love of his life, Rayne, while Tommy deals along with his own losses: the lack of his wife and the estranged relationship along with his daughter.
“We have always had such great support from our Filipino fans, Manila is definitely the right city to launch this show! We are very excited!” Air Supply songwriter Graham Russell said in a press release.
“Air Supply was the first Western band to tour China, Taiwan and many other countries,” added producer Dale Harrison.
“With the world premiere in Manila, All for Love musical will proceed the tradition of paving latest trails.”
Air Supply is comprised of singer, songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and vocalist Russell Hitchcock.
