Skytrax recently announced its World’s Best Airline for 2024. The airlines received awards often called the Oscars of aviation, recognizing excellence within the industry.
According to Skytrax, Qatar Airways has been named the “World’s Best Airline”. In the 25 years of the award, Qatar Airways has won this prestigious title for the eighth time. This achievement places Singapore Airlines in second place because the “World’s Best Airline”, making it the one Southeast Asian airline in the highest ten.
This success is attributed to Singapore Airlines’ dedication to customer support, which is demonstrated by a wide range of offerings, akin to gourmet in-flight meals prepared by renowned chefs, entertainment facilities each on board and within the lounges, and a fleet of over 180 aircraft serving over 110 destinations.
In addition to being named one in all Skytrax’s “World’s Top 10 Airline Companies 2024,” Singapore Airlines also received the “World’s Best Airline Cabin Crew 2024” award. While Singapore Airlines represented Southeast Asia, several other airlines were also recognized on the Skytrax World Airline Awards.
Another source of pride is the inclusion of Garuda Indonesia, Malaysia Airlines and Bangkok Airways within the “Top 20 World’s Best Airline Cabin Crew 2024”. Garuda Indonesia got here in third, Malaysia Airlines tenth and Bangkok Airways nineteenth. Additionally, AirAsia was named “World’s Best Low-Cost Airline 2024”, a title it has held since 2010, with Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, in second place.
Bangkok Airways also received the “World’s Best Regional Airline 2024” award for the eighth consecutive 12 months. This recognition underscores the airline’s commitment to providing excellent travel experiences and progressive service improvements, demonstrating Bangkok Airways’ unwavering commitment to passenger service and safety.
