The couple, who share a passion for Game of Thrones and The Lord of the Rings, spent 180 million rupees (about $13,000) on an unusual wedding themed after the fantasy novels.
The surprise “royal” wedding saw Rekhaza Panji Riawan, 28 – often known as King Joffrey Baratheon – make Sista Mauli Wulandari, 27 – often known as the Elven Queen, Galadriel – his wife – watched by an honour guard. The elaborate ceremony, which took lower than a 12 months to plan, took place on the couple’s Indonesian home in Jakarta, and all 600 guests were also asked to decorate within the whimsical theme.
No expense was spared, and the couple’s wedding ceremony had all of the pomp and glitz of a lavish television production.
“Luckily it’s not as expensive here as it is in the UK,” said Sista, recalling her big day.
Instead of a standard white wedding dress, the Sista brand strategist donned a floor-length cape, while creative director Rekhaza accessorized his outfit with a powerful sword.

They were accompanied by their very own army – wearing handmade brown robes and armed with wood swords – as they arrived for the normal Muslim ceremony.
“We had a fantastic day,” Sista said.
“I loved being dressed because the Elf Queen, and Rekhaza was such a handsome King Joffrey. Even though he’s cruel within the show, we loved his costume.

“I am really grateful for everything because everything went perfectly.”
Rekhaza desired to let everyone know he had been struck by Cupid’s arrow by making the symbolic gesture after traditional speeches by relations, prayers, and a marriage feast.

“Instead of letting me throw the bouquet, Rekhaza shot an arrow across the pool for one of the guests to catch,” Sista said. “It was so romantic.”
The wedding invitation even included a coin from Westeros, the continent where most of Game of Thrones takes place, and the marriage banner was inspired by the Baratheon crown.

Fans of each fantasy dramas are particularly keen on Game of Thrones, an adaptation of the A Song of Ice and Fire novel series by American writer and screenwriter George R. R. Martin.
Sista said: “My husband and I can spend a day, every week, a month, even a 12 months talking about Game of Thrones and never get bored in any respect.

“Rekhaza is a large fanboy and I’m a complete fangirl. He introduced me to it after we met and I used to be hooked.”
The hugely popular television series Game of Thrones is about within the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos and depicts the bloody struggles of noble families for the Iron Throne.

But there have been no such hostile sides on the couple’s fairytale wedding, which took place last October at an out of doors restaurant.
“No expense has been spared but fortunately living here is not as expensive as in the UK,” said Sista.
“We’re each very creative, which helped. It took us lower than a 12 months to get all of it together.
“And all 600 of our guests were very keen to fit in with our theme.”

Sista met her husband at Binus University in West Jakarta, where she was studying marketing communications and he was studying visual communications.
She continued, “Rekhaza was my first college crush. I assumed he was way cooler and older than me once I first went to orientation in 2008.
“I did not have the courage to seek advice from him and even smile and I completely forgot about him.

But then in 2010, the universe brought us together again after we met at a university event.
“Luckily, one of our friends introduced him to me and from then on we became friends and a couple a few months later.”
Quite unconventionally, as a substitute of receiving a romantic proposal, the couple made a joint decision to get married, choosing a fantasy theme.
