The 2018 Asian Power Index, developed by the Lowy Institute, measures a rustic’s power based on eight categories: economic resources, military potential, resilience, future trends, diplomatic influence, economic relations, defense networks, and cultural influence. Each category is weighted in a different way in the ultimate rating.
Economic resources and military potential are given more weight than other categories.
Countries with scores above 70 are classified as superpowers, countries with scores between 40.0 and 70.0 are great powers, those with scores above 10.0 are middle powers and people below 10.0 are minor powers.
According to the most recent research, few Southeast Asian countries made it to the Overall Power Index. Below is the complete list, together with the scores of every country:

The Jakarta Post reported that Indonesia ranked tenth when it comes to growth strength amongst 25 countries within the Asia-Pacific region, after Singapore (eighth) and Malaysia (ninth).
The United States and China proceed to dominate the region, followed by Japan, India and Russia.
