A study conducted by the digital tourist platform ADODA in January 2025 showed that the gene with online travel inspiration, includes spontaneity and prioritizes joint experiences.

Instead of counting on conventional recommendations, the Z gene often turns to social media, travel blogs and vlogs to plan their adventures. The study was attended by 15,000 respondents from various Asian countries, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, India and Thailand.
