China is opening the door for Tour ASEAN groups with a free entrance to Xishuangbanna

China, through the National Immigration Administration (NIA), officially implemented the visomatic policy of tourist groups from ASEAN countries, allowing them to go to Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, for as much as six days.

From February 10, this policy allows groups of no less than two travelers from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

To qualify for a free entry, tourists must book their journey through the Chinese travel agency and to enter and leave the country as a gaggle. These tourist groups can enter China with no visa via several designated entrance points, including the international Xishuangbanna Gasa airport, Port Railway Port and Mohan Land Port.

Since its implementation, the primary tourist group from Thailand and Laos got here to Xishuangbanna on February 19, receiving a warm welcome during a conventional water breaking ceremony and cultural performances.
