Mark your calendar for October 3 to five, 2025. Lenggong Valley in Perak will once more be transformed into one of the best outdoor playground in Malaysia. What began in 2022 as a modest meeting of a thousand outdoor enthusiasts has now was a dynamically developing event that in 2024 gathered almost two thousand participants.
This festival will not be just your average weekend escape. It is a three-day, two-night journey that mixes outdoor adventure, cultural appreciation and community spirit in a lake setting that feels timeless and alive.
A valley with stories carved in stone
The Lenggong Valley is greater than just landscapes. Surrounded by the Bintang and Titiwangsa mountain ranges, it hides archaeological treasures which might be amongst crucial on the Malaysian peninsula. Playground for adventurers Lots of activities
The schedule is designed to resemble an out of doors enthusiast’s dream checklist. In Tasik Raban, also referred to as Dataran Tasik Raban, water becomes the middle of activity. Kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing and skimboarding happen against the backdrop of mountains and plush forests. The calm, reflecting lake is friendly to each beginners and experienced athletes.
On land, energy is just as alive. Sliding down the bridges challenges your courage and rewards you with beautiful views of the valley. Sustainability is a priority. We encourage reducing waste, support local suppliers, and participants are encouraged to bring reusable items to reduce plastic consumption.
When evening comes, Pentas Galau becomes the guts of the celebration. Live music, performances by local artists, and a gathering of over thirty outdoor groups create an environment that’s each festive and deeply connected to the community.

Lenggong Outdoor Festival 2025 takes place within the small town of Raban near Sauk, just thirty-four kilometers from Kuala Kangsar. Its location combines quick access with a tranquil location surrounded by limestone hills, cave systems and green landscapes that create a natural amphitheater.
