Apple offers $10 million investment to Indonesia for local expansion
Apple Inc. recently made a suggestion of additional investment value almost USD 10 million, or roughly IDR 157 billion, to the Indonesian government.
The move is seen as a part of Apple’s efforts to remove barriers to sales of the most recent iPhone 16 models within the country, as confirmed by several sources.

iPhone sales blocked as a consequence of local component requirements
Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry has previously blocked sales of latest iPhone models within the domestic market, citing the corporate’s failure to acquire the required domestic content certificate (TKDN).
Without this certificate, Apple devices can’t be legally sold in Indonesia, which poses a serious obstacle to the distribution of the corporate’s products within the region.

Apple’s plan to take a position in a facility in Bandung
According to a report by Bloomberg Technoz, Apple plans to take a position in a producing facility in Bandung, West Java as a part of a partnership with several of its suppliers.
