Mobile commerce is growing amongst Twitter users within the Asia-Pacific region, in keeping with a study commissioned by the social media company in 15 countries, about two in three users usually tend to browse and pay on mobile devices than their counterparts within the US and Europe.
Twitter’s report, which analyzes mobile shopping behavior and features a hidden test to know how consumers view a listing of major shopping apps, found that users in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia AND India browse in your mobile and make regular payments in your mobile device.
Indian Twitter users are leading by way of mobile shopping behavior as 81% of surveyed Twitter users in India are more likely to shop on mobile devices.
Meanwhile, the report also shows that in individual countries, attitudes towards Chinese shopping apps are less positive than within the case of some global or market players.
However, there’s a big difference in attitudes between those that are aware of those apps and people who have used them as consumers. After using them, a positive change within the approach to Chinese shopping apps was demonstrated.
