Following the unanimous passage of a historic anti-stalking bill by Malaysian MP Dewan Rakyat, the country’s lower house of parliament, the country has turn into the most recent Asian country to make progress within the fight against stalking.

“I’m sure from now on [that] it will be given to vulnerable people who need better protection, so I want to thank everyone who contributed,” Samsudin told the Dewan Rakyat. “There are many incidents where perpetrators can get away with it, but with this amendment we can prevent that from happening.”
