A brand new original Disney mobile game, entirely developed and published by Singaporean game developer goGame, will probably be released next yr.
Titled Disney Epic Quest, it’s a mobile motion RPG game that mixes Disney and Pixar characters in the identical digital universe. Players will form a team of three Disney and Pixar characters – reminiscent of Mickey Mouse, Mr. Incredible, Jack Sparrow and Baymax – to avoid wasting their digital kingdom from a dangerous virus that has infected the land.
The free-to-play mobile game will probably be available on Android and iOS devices and will probably be the primary Disney mobile game to debut globally in Southeast Asia when it launches next yr.
There will probably be microtransactions in the sport, and more details will probably be revealed later.
“It is a great honor to work on a Disney game developed, hosted and published for our rapidly growing region of Southeast Asia,” said David Ng, founder and CEO of goGame.
“Our partnership with goGame reaffirms our commitment to Southeast Asian fans to deliver games tailored to local tastes and preferences,” said Dan Dossa, vp, Walt Disney South Asia and general manager, consumer product commercialization.
Available in quite a lot of languages - including English, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese and Simplified Chinese – Disney Epic Quest offers easy hack-and-slash gameplay combined with charged attacks.
Disney and Pixar characters play different roles or classes in the sport. For example, some can take more damage and a few can deal more damage. Characters may have a big choice of apparatus and weapons to accumulate, in addition to skills to master.
Players also can participate in multiplayer cooperative battles, planning to compete in player versus player mode.
From Saturday (October 13), those excited about Disney Epic Quest can register on its official website (www.playdisneyepicquest.com) to be notified when the sport becomes available of their region. Those who cannot wait can head over to the Disney booth to examine out the demo at GameStart Asia 2018, a gaming event happening in Singapore this weekend (October 13-14) on the Suntec Convention Centre.
